Class Details
Prerequisite: You must have a current Arizona DPS-issued Armed Guard License to enroll in this course.
- Price: $120 for the 4-hour course
- Includes class costs, DPS paperwork, and fingerprint cards
- Payment options: Cash, credit, debit
- Includes range time, DPS paperwork, and fingerprint cards
- What you'll need:
- Approved caliber (9mm, .40, or .45.)
- Safety equipment (hearing and eye protection)
- At least 100 rounds of target ammunition (extra recommended)
- Holster or duty belt (if available)
- 2-3 ammunition magazines for your weapon
- Must be 21 years old or older.
- Equipment Rentals:
- Firearms: $25 per class
- Safety equipment: $2 per class
- Ammunition (9mm, .40 cal., and .45 cal.): $20 per box
- Rentals and ammunition can be added during your purchase.
Schedule: Sundays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (confirm your class date to know your start time, and arrive 15 minutes early for check-in)
